We had such a lovely day celebrating World Book Day in 1st and 2nd class.
The children paired up with pupils from 5th and 6th Class to share and listen to each other reading from their favourite books. They took part in a “Two Stars and a Wish” activity with their reading buddies and it was lovely to hear so much positive and encouraging feedback.
The children also created artwork based on their favourite books and enjoyed a fun book swap, giving their much-loved stories a new home. 📚
