What a day we had in Medtronic representing our school in the First Lego League and showcasing wonderful engineering, programming and presenting skills. Our team was praised throughout the day for bringing such fun and energy to Challenge Day.
Our team ‘Team Electric’ won the core values trophy which is awarded for Discovery, Impact, Inclusion, Fun, Innovation and Teamwork. They also came 2nd overall which is an enormous achievement for the youngest team in Medtronic today.
A big shout out to Marian and all the Medtronic team who sponsored our Lego kits and made it possible for our school to be part of such an amazing educational project. No doubt ye have inspired lots of young minds to get involved in STEM in the future.
It was great to see a few familiar faces too.
