This week we planted a hawthorn tree. This tree is native to Ireland. It is also known as the May tree. It blossoms with white, sweet smelling flowers in spring and grows red berries in autumn.
We also sowed yellow rattle seed where our wildflower meadow is. This helps to prevent grasses dominating over our wildflowers in this area.
