Today the children took part in the St. Brigids 7’s Hurling Tournament. There were 16 teams in total. There was plenty of rain throughout the day but it didn’t dampen our spirits. We came 3rd in our group beaten by a single point by Kilcooley NS. We met our neighbours Mullagh in a very exciting semi-final. We came through that game and played Leitrim NS in the final and what an epic final it was. We came out on top by 2 points to be crowned plate winners. Thanks so much to St Brigids for hosting such a well organised spectacle of hurling. A huge well done to our girls and boys who got even better as the day went on.
